Lilly’s Little Gem

Lovely little place we stumbled upon after a walk along a busy seafront. Cool and shaded inside. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and polite, especially the lovely lady who served us to begin with. Had a four cheese quiche and my husband had a tunamelt panini. Perfect portions sizes and basic but lovely fresh side salad. My only criticism (and I haven't knocked off any stars for this) and I'm really nit picking here, but if the menu states homemade coleslaw with meals (£11.99) I wish there was an explanation as to why we didn't get it on this occasion (think we were first customers in on the Sunday). Aside from that....this place, and the people that run it, really is a "little gem" would definitely come again.

One of the most authentic cafes I’ve been in for such a long time, the atmosphere and decor was just so original. The host was amazing very friendly, very welcoming and the best part the opening conversation We do the best breakfast here. And I’ll be deadly honest everything about the breakfast I had tasted amazing. The Lincolnshire sausages was the best part on the plate. If you’re ever in Grimsby and or Cleethorpes and want a breakfast please give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.

Had lunch here today. Lovely. Don't know what they fry their chips in but they were fabulous. Lovely little place. Coffee was good and the staff were really friendly. Highly recommended.

Lovely little cafe! Mixing and matching is no bother here!! If they've got it, they'll do it. I wanted a dairy free smoothie, and friendly Linda rustled me one up with strawberries no problem! I had a jacket spud, very good value too and it was delicious, LOVED their homemade coleslaw and was offered balsamic vinegar dressing for my salad too. They use quality ingredients here, which is great. I noticed after looking around the place, they do kids party's too! Cool arty decor and ice cream selections, and an option for vegans too. They will be getting a license too for alcohol, so I'd love to book again with friends for a bottomless brunch perhaps or high Tea !! Highly recommend! 5****

Popped in today after a walk down the sea front and was so positively surprised, absolutely lovely inside, extremely friendly, great cheesy chips and nice hot chocolate! will definitely be back and definitely recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just had the best breakfast in cleethorpes. Brilliant Lincolnshire sausages, runny eggs and lovely hot cuppa tea. Brilliant ingredients make a breakfast and you have this down to a tee. Friendly staff and very helpful. We will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend lilly's little gem.

Walked into Cleethorpes and had a superb breakfast at Lillys. Well worth a visit if your passing. They also serve nice coffee and home made cakes.

Like the name suggests, this cafe is an absolute gem! Staff are very nice and really take care of you. You can't leave without trying their lemon drizzle cake which goes really nicely with a cup of coffee or mocha. I'll definitely be back when I'm around this neck of the woods.
